Burgess Mountain Trail

This trail leaves a forest road and meanders on an old roadbed to the highest point on the Oconee National Forest, 645 feet. Horses are allowed on this trail.

 Directions to Trailhead

From Eatonton, take the Godfrey Highway (county road 213) north for 4 miles to Forest Service Road 1120. Turn left on Forest Service Road 1120 and go about 1.4 miles to the trailhead.
