Description

Surrounded by large pines and hardwoods, this area offers camping, picnicking and fishing. Campers have five campsites with tent pads and picnic tables to choose from along the edge of the lake.

Loop road through this area is gravel.

Fishing for bass, bream and catfish is popular among visitors. This area is closed to fishing at certain times of the year so check State and Forest Service fishing regulations beforehand.

.The historic towns of Monticello and Eatonton are interesting to visit, as well as Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee.

The closest recreation area with camping available is Lake Sinclair

This area is open yearlong from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. No fees are required.
