No reason to leave the mountains of Georgia behind without a bear siting - head for the Black Forest Bear Park and Reptile Exhibit and enjoy, for the detour, a (safe) personal bear encounter. Visitors to this animal (and reptile) oriented facility can feed the resident bears from an elevated walkway and the satisfied ones just might do a trick or two by way of reward. Be sure to stop in to see the cubs in season (don't forget, bears hibernate in winter!) and have a look at hissing venomous snakes in the snake exhibit.
