Southern belle of a city, Savannah, sits seaside, well-stocked with cultural attractions, historic sites and if you believe what they say, the occasional ghostly visitor.
The Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall and Sports Museum houses memorabilia, touch-screen displays, and video highlights of the long and proud heritage of University of Georgia athletics. Exhibits include the 1980 National Championship football trophy and Heisman trophies won by Frank Sinkwich and Herschel Walker, as well as items from the 1996 Olympics competition in Athens, and updates of current happenings in all bulldog athletics. Free. Open 8 a.m.– 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Visitors can also view the Dooley Sculpture Garden, adjacent to the Butts-Mehre Buildings, which is about the length of a football field, containing 11 distinct garden areas.
We offer a compact version of Go-Georgia for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-Georgia on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
